Once final approval is received from General Council, your credential with the Assemblies of God will be awarded to you and will be effective immediately if you are getting Certified or Licensed. Ordination requires the laying on of hands to be official, which will be done at District Council. Though your Certified or Licensed credential will be awarded to you as soon as it is received from General Council, you and your spouse (if married) for all three levels of credentialing are required to attend the Credentialing Service during the South Dakota District Council for the formal presentation. 

The 2024 Credentialing Service will be during District Council in the Spring of 2024 in Brandon at Brandon Valley.
