Dates: March 16-18, 2017
Location: Kamp Kinship (Black Hills)
with special speaker: Mark Zweifel
Mark graduated from Trinity Bible College over twenty years ago with a dream in his heart to impact the world for Jesus. After serving several years in the rural settings of Minnesota & Wyoming, he and his bride were called to serve the late Dr. Fulton Buntain in Tacoma, WA. Mark spent the next 14+ years serving in two mega-churches, where he traveled extensively preaching and teaching.
In December of 2008, Mark & Heidi relocated from Las Vegas, Nevada to Anchorage, Alaska with their four daughters to become the District Youth Directors for the Alaska Ministry Network. Under Mark's innovative and out-of-the-box leadership, the Network's Youth Conference & Summer Camp attendance doubled. Mark also directed Little Beaver Camp & Retreat Center. Under his leadership the camp underwent massive remodeling and restaffing. The camp is now fully booked and running in the black for the first time in 20+ years.
In July of 2014, Mark and his family relocated to Fairbanks, Alaska to pastor Fairbanks First Assembly (FB1ST). When Mark accepted the challenge to pastor FB1ST, he became the 4th pastor in 4 years to assume leadership of this struggling body. In the past 20 months, they have seen their Sunday attendance grow from under 100 people to over 700. They are excited to see what God can do in a city through a local church.
Mark's love for ministry pales in comparison to his love for his family. His bride of 20 years, his four daughters, and their newly adopted Inupiat son are what propel him to live life to the fullest.
