Rev. John Zick serves as the national director of Ministerial Advancement (CALLED) for the Assemblies of God. He has been in full-time ministry for over a decade, serving in a variety of roles including Youth Culture Specialist/Staff Evangelist at the Northern California/Nevada District Office; NextGen Pastor at Grand Rapids First in Grand Rapids, Michigan; NextGen Leadership Development Director at the Michigan Network Office; and everything in between. John is the author of “Called,” a book for individuals who are sensing a call to ministry. He is married to Alicia and has two boys Oliver Ezra and Emerson Elyot.

Monday, our first meal of Council, gather with us together to celebrate another  R E C O R D  G I V I N G  year for both BGMC and Speed the Light that you and your churches have made possible! Come enjoy a wonderful meal while you hear all that God has done through each of us and to dream together for what more He can do!


We're thrilled that David Bauchspiess  our new District Youth DirectorNational, will be inspiring us at this NextGen Missions luncheon.

Monday Night Banquet

A highlight each year of Council, Monday Night Banquet is a time to connect with each other and lift Jesus higher! 


This is a great missions banquet invitation you can give out to your church boards, friends, and family to attend with you. They will be blessed! For all guests, $30 early bird until March 31st. After March 31st it will be $40. The Banquet will be held at the Holiday Inn Event Center at 6:30pm.

    Kids Pastors and leaders, Youth Pastors and leaders, -- we love this chance to connect at Council to hear what is going on in each others' ministries and to see the vision God has for SD NextGen in the months to come.

credentialing service

Our Credentialing Service is a highlight each year! We look forward to celebrating new ministers and those who've upgraded their credentials.


This will be held at Brandon Valley Assembly of God, Tuesday, April 23rd starting at 7pm with a reception in the lobby immediately following the service.
